Michael Baker International Announces Promotion of Bill Macon to Regional Director of Gulf Coast Region

Company Reorganization Fosters Multi-Disciplined Global Strength in Local Offices

Pittsburgh (May 19, 2014) - Michael Baker International has announced the promotion of Bill Macon, Senior Vice President, to Regional Director of the Gulf Coast Region in a strategic reorganization to provide the company’s strong portfolio of services in offices along the Gulf Coast. This promotion is part of a new operations-centric structure for the company, based on office level business units supporting seven corporate regions nationally and internationally. As Regional Director, Macon will play a significant role in fostering the growth of the offices through advancement of the firm’s extensive global portfolio of expertise to serve Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Louisiana, Mississippi, Oklahoma and Texas.

“As a former United States Air Force (USAF) Colonel, Bill’s leadership in federal installation and facilities management is unparalleled,” stated Kurt Bergman, Chief Executive Officer. “Bill carries weighted experience in all facets of engineering management from past projects ranging from Commander and Base Civil Engineer at the USAF’s largest installation, Eglin Air Force base, Florida to Chief, Base Transfer of the Headquarters, Multi-National Force – Iraq (MNF-I), Camp Victory, Baghdad, Iraq.”

In addition to the promotion of Macon and five Regional Directors named across the country, 33 Office Executives have been named nationwide to provide unified local leadership and offer clients a broader range of Michael Baker International’s services.   • James (Jay) R. Williams, P.E.—San Antonio, TX (includes Austin/Round Rock)
